So where is this at?

Writing as listening, the intro.. im sorry i cant like it.. some of the sharp clinging in the beginning right after the violins hurted my ears (around 0.42) i think its a chime in percussion. around 2.15 and on actually does sound powerful and takes you in.

Ill let it finish.

Hm, cool stuff with the voices and later the hollow chimes into musicbox, ah and the transition into some weird stuff haha ok this actually does sound cool. (youll have to explain why its called frigid though) (and sorry for the weird review i was typing as i listen)

The ending i wasnt that impressed with either sorry.

All in all its definately original, and once gotten used to a bit enjoyable in a 'experiencing some other weird world by your hand' way. The chime sounds in the intro just make my ears crawl back into my brain.

Please do tell the story though, cause i dont know what im listening to.

hmm

Im always amazed how people who make dnb make all those percussion hits sound fluently, oh i do know why i like dnb.. its pretty much the percussion equalivent of melodical music (wich ofcourse is my style).

Its a little loud here and there (on the melodic parts) but i guess thats normal?

Anyway this track makes me think of raw knife sharp robotics.

InvisibleObserver responds:

You seem to have a solid handle on what your listening to. Jolly good. :) I agree with everything you've said.

this earns 10 and 5 from me

why? because for one it doesnt just copy an original track, you really do something original with it, now thats music. Very-well-done.

hmm

Sounds a bit like an 80s movie, jeans and muscular men wielding stilleto's. :รพ

EmperorCharlemagne responds:

Now all it would need is a funky bass and a wahh-waaaaahh saxophone solo, like in those 80s cops movies.

:P

original and structured

a good come together between an original percussion and atmosphere man, worth a 9 and a 5 against the 0-butts.

;)

thanks, glad you liked

All i want to say here is that i wouldve liked seeing a change to G on the background riff here.

and a D on the 1:07.

how does that sound?

this is just excellent

Its great relaxation-music, pure atmosphere.
Could be applied to a roleplay adventure game such as baldurs gate np.

The instruments all go very well with eachother and it keeps revolving the theme, grats.

dayday8421 responds:

Hi Calamaistr Yeah the mood is exactly what i was going for. Thanks for the review and glad you enjoyed.

pffff....

look ive gone trough all of your vg tracks and this is the only one i like a bit so here goes:

It is mostly atmospheric the whole time, this is a good thing here no worries.
Loop drags can set a mood when done right and in this track it is done right. Around 1: 22 i get the feeling you didnt know where to go for a moment, anyway.. this is definately a nice track and it makes me ponder why you didnt stick with the style yet in most other works almost abandon melodical quality and instead seem to focus on modern styles wich isnt really what chip and bit instrumentation shines at.

Regards.

BadCommandCo responds:

The accordion still feels like it belongs there and so does the part at 1:22. Also I don't seem to feel any of my music abandons "melodical quality" (melodical isn't a word). I always found this comment difficult to understand or agree with, but everyone perceives things differently.
