Now this i like, its pretty compact and simplistic and yet doesnt bore one bit, well done.
Can easily see this in a proper rpg, reminds me of games like wild arms. :)

Haha, glad someone has love for stuff like this. My heart will always be with old-school RPG games. About half the tunes I upload here are of the RPG genre and the other half are Platformer-esque. At the end of the day- I really love making RPG music though. Thanks for the Favvy- you shouldcheck out some compositions I submitted last month that are more in this vein. I def intend to continue making more of this kind.
perfect pacing and soundbits imo, though here and there the melody couldnt keep my attention its alot better than what most people make as 8bit here on newgrounds.

makes me think of walking around in the labyrinth of brothers in FF8.
love the lowfi synth instrumentation.
It sounds more like a concept because of the simplicity in its repetition, i also cant find a theme in the melody as it sticks to much to a single chord, that might be the theme on its own but i dont know about that.
At the start i found the bells a bit unnecessary at 00:31, overall there is just to little change to make it interesting and even becomes nagging as its just one chord most of the time throughout the track.
Maybe im of the few in this not to like such, it might be personal preferrence.
As for the quality itself its ok appart from the piano, could use some filter cut to make it softer.
Yeah, I wasn't really going for a specific theme, but more of something to work as I guess almost a pop song. I'm not really expecting people to use this in their games or movies or anything, I just do it for enjoyment.
And I don't know why people hate on the bells, I don't really get why DX. I kinda liked them and I don't think that adding it is really unnecessary or necessary, but more of just something to add to the song.
But I appreciate the review though. Thanks!
why arent you making music for the videogames i buy already jesus c.
cause you definately have the sklllz

dat panning, i love the falling of the synth, and now dat solo holy shit.
this is going on my favorites.
Sweet!
I was getting only a LITTLE carried away with the solo, but I think the type of song calls for a bit of over-the-top shreddin'!
Glad you liked!
You take something that sounds simple and make it osomow.
hmmm.
i am now go for fly to the space.
GOOD LUCK TO THE FLYINGS ENTERPRISE OF SUPER PLAYER PILOT
Man, the more i listen to your music the more i think youre equally awesome as bud spencer riding a bear downhill while shooting harpoons in every direction.
Well that certainly sounds pretty awesome. I don't know if I'm at ultima-harpoon level but I'll take it!
Thanks for the kind words~
Megamaaaanliiiike.
brah is famitracker a fl vst?
i want it, its so 'pure that its crescent frrrrresh if you know what i mean, its like candy for the ears.
Famitracker is a tracker that is a free program that emulates the NES's 2A03 soundchip.
It's pretty sweet and one of my favorite tracker programs.
Thinking about movies like ressurection of the dragon and red cliff when i listened to this, that should tell you enough.
