Megamaaaanliiiike.

brah is famitracker a fl vst?

i want it, its so 'pure that its crescent frrrrresh if you know what i mean, its like candy for the ears.

EmperorCharlemagne responds:

Famitracker is a tracker that is a free program that emulates the NES's 2A03 soundchip.

It's pretty sweet and one of my favorite tracker programs.

it has a bit of deus-ex paris nightclub in it, thats a good thing.

not what you meant to have im sure, anyway its a awesome track, ima fav it.

love the different instruments repeating the sub tune at the beginning, the rest is very typical vg jazz, excellent.

almost forgot how awesome you were. :]

The whole atmosphere this gives, its tragic but also hopeful in a way, exactly the kind of music nobuo makes yes.

Make more like this buddy.

greets -cal.

Thinking about movies like ressurection of the dragon and red cliff when i listened to this, that should tell you enough.

i like it, very rpg game inviting.

only some parts of the melody sound awfully familiar wich isnt a good thing, but throughout the track it all gives off a very nice vibe and make me think of rpg villages and plains to hunt small monsters in so i can make awesome leather armor from their hides and show it off to the people.

Troisnyx responds:

Thanks a lot! ^_^ Yes, I'll admit, some parts of the melody sound familiar - when I wrote this, I was inspired by the Piano Collections version of Hand in Hand from Kingdom Hearts, hence the introduction.

You know tardigrada?

This music is a bit like the music in timesplitters, the robot levels.

Anyway water bears actually exist for real, they are called tardigrada's and are 100% resistant to nearly everything, including levels of cold and heat thought impossible for life, even levels of radiation 'in space.

They look a bit like bears, but are smaller than grains of sand, they live in moss mostly.

Scientists said they are sentient beings, amazing huh. (yea i love the microscopic world)

Anyway thought to share this. Greets -cal.

reminds me of the batman and robin movie music

yea thats quite long ago i know heh.

anyway, hearing this i am of opinion you shouldve won the 1st place in the robot day contest.

i dont think itll be any consolation but good job. :)
10/ 5*

hmm sorry brah

i voted a 4 cause some of the sounds just .. well they jsut dont really fit imo.

I do like the flute part alot, the problems are mostly with the percussion though.

quality but WAY to loud.

you need to fix the volume man, it hurts the ears on a headphone.
anyway you can hear this is recorded live wich is a good thing, its not my preferred style however but your post in the ad. thread sparked my interest and megaman II has always been one of my favorite games of all time.

deadlyfishes responds:

I don't really know how to respond to this but, my work is always professionally mixed and mastered in a recording studio setting. The song is tested through many audio output mediums for quality assurance including volume levels, clipping and many other things... It's really you that's affected from listening to this song because some people are more sensitive to certain frequencies, so it's quite possible that this song has a certain one that sticks out to you a lot more... If it hurts you then just turn it down. Also, not preferred style? Obviously right away you can tell what I'm trying to achieve here and not base your opinion on what style you'd rather hear it in. Sometimes you need to think outside of your comfort box and see if I've achieved my musical goal which in this case was a modern rock adaptation of the original NES version.
